Reader Qualification

• Anyone, those who interested in our materials are welcomed.

Opennig hours

• From 9:00 to 17:00 (Monday - Friday)
• Closed at Saturdays, Sundays, National holidays and the New Year Vacation (from Dec. 29th to Jan. 3rd).

How to locate materials

• Use on-line catalog of the University Library. [http://opac.lib.hokudai.ac.jp/opac/basic-query-e?mode=2&key=&TGSRC=0&IRKBN=0]
• As for books, catalogued before 1985, please consult also the card catalog at the SRC Library.
• As for microform materials, please consult also the special card catalog at the SRC Library.

Check out

• Faculties, Staff, students of the Hokkaido University, and graduates from the University can borrow the books and doctoral dissertationsunder the following conditions.

  Users	Loan Number of items	Loan period of items
  University Staff Faculties Granduate students	10 vols	1 month
  Undergranduate students	3 vols	1 month
  Graduates	3 vols	1 month

• Reference books, Periodicals, Newspapers and Microform materials cannot be checked out.

Notice

• Books, aquired and catalogued at the SRC Library are transferred to the University Library and located on the ground floor of the east end of the stack. Binded periodicals are also transfered and located in the same place. These materials are served according to the regulations of the University Library.
