Microsoft Edge
Open [Settings] → [System and performance] → [Performance], then turn off “Preload pages for faster browsing and searching”.
Google Chrome
Open [Settings] → [Performance], and under [Speed], turn off “Preload pages”.
FireFox
Type “about:config” in the address bar and press Enter. If a warning page appears, click “Accept the Risk and Continue”. Search for “network.prefetch-next” on the configuration page and set its value to false.
