About MAC address

This page provides instructions for finding out the MAC address for library Wi-Fi.
If you cannot connect to Wi-Fi, please check the notes for the device you are using in this webpage. If the random MAC address feature is enabled, you will not be able to connect to it.

Before you begin.

  • A MAC address is a number assigned to a device connected to a network. It is also known as a physical address or hardware address.
  • The MAC address is a 16-digit alphanumeric number separated by two digits, e.g. "F8-54-F6-6B-15-E9". The alphanumeric characters used are numbers from 0 to 9 and letters from A to F. Letters after G are not used. A colon (:) or hyphen (-) is used as a separator.
