User Qualification

University members including research students and auditing students.
Visitors for the purpose of academic studies and research.
Library use by visitors may be restricted during the regular examination periods. Check the calendar for details.

Borrowing

To check out items, bring proper identification (student ID, staff ID, or library card) to the circulation desk.

Books, Bound journals, Extensive Reading

Non-members of the University
(including visitors)

    *Non-circulating items, such as reference books, audio-visual resources, and the latest issues of unbound journals, are available only for daytime loan.

Return

    Please return items to the circulation desk within the return period.
    While the library is closed, please drop off items at the book drop at the first-floor entrance.
    If you have an overdue item, you will not be allowed to check out another item. You may also be penalized by losing your borrowing privileges for the number of days the item is overdue (up to a maximum of 30 days).

Copying

    You can copy the library materials within the limits set forth in Copyright Law of Japan at your own expense.

Notice

    Please be quiet in the library.
    Eating and drinking are prohibited in the library. Only drinks in plastic bottles are permitted.
    Cell phones are not allowed.
    Always keep valuables in your possession.
