ADMISSION
▶ Persons (1) - (5)
You are asked to visit the library during 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays.
▸ You are allowed to use the library until the closing time once you complete signing up or renewing your library membership.
▸ You are NOT allowed to visit the library on weekends and national holidays (except for those who already signed up or renewed the library membership during and after March, 2023).
▸ If you already signed up or renewed your library membership during and after March, 2023, you are allowed to use the library from 9:00 AM to the closing time both on weekdays and weekends (inc. national holidays).
▶ Persons (6) - (8)
You are asked to visit the library during 9:00 AM an 4:00 PM on weekdays.
▸ You are allowed to use the library until the closing time once you complete the registration.
▸ You are NOT allowed to visit the library on weekends and national holidays.
▸ For those from outside Hokkaido who want to inquire about our library materials, we recommend that you contact us in advance. Please note that inquiries sent after 5:00 PM on weekdays or during weekends will be replied on the following business day.

(*1) Government-issued ID should be a document to prove your identity (full name and present address) such as driver's license, certification of driving history, My Number Card, Basic Resident Registration Card (Juki Card), health insurance card (with your own address), passport (with your own address), residence card, or disability certificate.
(*2) Official document to prove your previous employment at Hokkaido University should be an appointment letter or other documents consisting of working conditions you had in Hokkaido University.
