The Environmental Earth Science Library will be temporarily closed and relocated as follows. Please note that this may result in delays in responding to inquiries. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
1. Temporary Closure
(1)Period: From July 31 to August 4, 2026
Reason: Relocation due to renovation work on the building.
(2)Period: From August 12 to 14, 2026
Reason: As part of summer energy conservation measures.
2. Relocation
Period: From August 5 2026 to around March 2027 (until renovation work is completed)
New Location: 1st Floor, Experimental Building (Please refer to the layout map.)
3. Notes
(1)The packing of books for the relocation will begin around July 28. Once packed, these books will be unavailable until the relocation process is complete. If you wish to browse or borrow books, please visit the library by July 27, or from August 5, onwards.
(2)Even after the relocation, members of Faculty of Env. Earth Science and the Graduate School of Env. Science may continue to use the library at night and on days when it is closed. However, due to construction work, the library will be inaccessible at night and on closed days from July 31 to August 5. Library access during night and on closed days is scheduled to resume on August 6.
