Use SciVal
What is Scival?
- This is a tool for analyzing research based on studies and their citation information. SciVal is a product of Elsevier, an academic publisher in science, technology, and medicine and the provider of Scopus. This tool builds on the data of articles contained in Scopus.
- SciVal offers a variety of metrics, including Scholarly Output, Field-Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI), Top Citation Percentiles, and International Collaboration. It is used for assessment purposes at home and abroad.
- The tool allows you to assess and compare the performance of yourself or a given researcher, department, university, etc. with objective data.
- User registration and sign-in are required. The e-mail address and password for sign-in is common to ScienceDirect and Mendeley. → SciVal: information for users > how to access (Elsevier)
- To use SciVal from outside the campus, access it via the remote access service or with GakuNin remote access.
