Open Access Week Seminar, “Starting open science: mastering Zotero and Figshare” (Oct. 28)

In this seminar, we will discuss the usage and benefits of Zotero, an open source document management software, and Figshare, a research data publishing platform. Relatedly, we also point to tools (browser extensions etc.) for discovering open access material.

* If you bring your laptop, you can participate in the seminar while operating Zotero, Figshare, etc.

Dr. Michael Schiltz (Associate professor, Research Faculty of Media and Communication)

Dr. Schiltz is a researcher in economic and financial history and is active in the field of digital humanities. During his tenure at the Library of Congress, he was involved in the development of Zotero. He also has a strong interest in open access, research data management and is a consultant for Figshare.
